about

Introducing Tales of Ordinary Madness, the debut EP from up and coming producer Ziyah.

A lover of music through and through, Ziyah states that his largest influences are the 4 locations which he holds close to his heart. Born and raised in South-East London, UK he grew up experiencing the boom of Grime and UK Hip-Hop, whilst being exposed to many other sounds. Being of Turkish Cypriot ethnicity, Ziyah also grew up listening to classics from the 70’s and 80’s Funk, Disco & Rock Turkish music scene, and spent the majority of his childhood a part of a band focused on up-tempo oriental music.
His time spent studying in Sheffield, UK grew his appetite for all genres of music, as he had co-presented a weekly radio show for 3 years. Yet the final piece of the puzzle he says are owed to the few years spent living in Berlin, Germany. Witnessing first-hand the infamous and thriving night scene in Berlin helped him refine his musical identity. Falling in love more and more with Electronic music specifically Hard Techno, Gabber and alike. Which brings us here, the Tales of Ordinary Madness EP is the starting point of a producer drawing from these influences to create a blend of live and electronic sounds, culminating in a Techno project to get you dancing.
